So I wanted to purchase some shoes off of Ebay that were around $260 so i hit buy now to purchase i then contacted the seller to see if he could send me 2 invoices to split the payment due to me wanting to use to different payment styles (bill me later and bank transfer) so seller agreed i was sent 2 invoices, but now that i actually look at them they were money requests however in the notes he wrote partial payment and also put the item number from ebay and the description of the itme i would be purchasing. There was no field for a tracking number but the next day he sent me a tracking number through my messages on the ebay site. He gave me a day they should arrive and that the tracking can usually take 24-48 hours to update and that its possible that the package would reach me before it updates. A few days go by no package and when i checked the tracking it says "NOT FOUND" I wait another day and then i call the USPS worker tells me there is no package with that tracking number. I contact seller and got no answer for several days. Am i protected if i file a claim through paypal to get my refund? And because i split the payment up will i have to file 2 claims 1 for each invoice?
