Hi I hope someone can help me,I am new to e-bay and pay-pal so please bear with me,I sold 2 weeeks ago an artical and completed a sale yesterday for bag,I was advised on both times that pay-pal payments had been recieved and it was OK to post,both amounts showed on my pay-pal bank summary,this afternoon after dashing to post before PO closed early I get home to find on both sales a notice saying request refund,does this mean the buyer's funds have been clawed back and can someone explain how a bank will allow payment to show as paid if not enough funds in to cover transaction.If I have to refund how do I get my monies that is owed do I bill the buyer again ?? many thanks.

So many thanks for making it clear for me I will set up the direct debit mandate,can I state which day I want it to come out if i use it just to pay fee's.?

Hi thanks so much for responding quickly,I have not put in the 4 digit number as I did not relize I had to (sorry) the only account I received was on my account summary which said I owed £12.53 for fee's etc is this the invoice I am looking for,sorry to sound so dumb.I must be doing something right for the fee's amount to have been paid ??

Hi,I am new to e-bay and have just had my first payments showing as cleared in my account,I have only transferred £80.00 to my account but it has been showing as "pending" for two days now, my account for fee's was paid at the same time and that cleared straight away,now I understand that the longer pay-pal keep the money in their account the better it is for them but maybe I am doing something wrong,my bank account is linked to my pay-pal account do I have to fill in DD details for verification I really did not want to have a DD set up as I use my husbands account my account is only a basic bank account for me to receive my pension.

Thanks so much for your reply I had to ask as I don't use this account that much and just wanted to make sure enough funds would be available but it sounds as though I don't have to worry now. thanks again.

This is my first time listing stuff for sale on e-bay and just want to ask how do I know if I have selected the selling fee's to be paid from what goes into my account I seem to be going around in circles and can't seem to confirm I have clicked the correct option when I opened my account with pay-pal,not much help with telephone enquiry.So sorry to sound thick just want to make sure I have done everything correct.
