OK I am new to Paypal and Ebay and have read many horror stories about the holding of funds: Why would the funds be on hold still after selling on Ebay and have done the following: Provided tracking number to seller, Paypal/Ebay Customer received the item This has me concerned because from what I have been reading there are many reasons why the funds are on hold, such as: Buyer used a stolen credit card and found out after item was shipped customer and/or there bank reversed the funds after item was shipped. Paypal reversed the funds after item shipped funds not showing in there account even though buyer paid people concerned about shipping the item because they cannot see the funds in there account. and many more It seems there is a bunch of loopholes that help buyers scam the sellers these days. It feels like there is no protection for sellers anymore. if a customer used fraudulant payment means, why is that my problem? especially after I shipped item. How do I know that the funds are in my Paypal Account if I can't see them in my account? Why should I ship the item if I can't see funds in my account? Many people on here have said funds were reversed for various reasons, if I used proper Paypal/Ebay selling protocal than why is this my problem? This is all too messed up in my opinion, it is not our (sellers) responsibility if customers are frauds and every other concern. Our job is to sell items and using proper protocal not to make sure the buyer is a fraud, we are not psychic and don't know if a buyer is a fraud, I am seriously reconsidering my payment company because this all seems fishy and unfair to the us (seller). Seems the scammers have more rights then legit sellers. This is how it should work: buyer pays seller ships and provides tracking info, item received funds released. And another concern I read was about feedback, not everyone leaves feedback so if there is no negative feedback why should we wait and have to beg for feedback?
