I had this issue today. I opened disputes on two of the three payments I made and clicked on the 'unauthorised use of my account' as i think that PayPals error was just that! They contacted the seller who accepted the dispute and PayPal refunded me straight away! Think it should work for others. ... View more

What number did you ring? Another item i paid for numerous times won't be refunded by the seller because he says paypal will take 5.40 off him for doing it? And did paypal say they'd refund you or everyone who's had the same problem? ... View more

I contacted the seller when i realised that PayPal showed that i had paid for an item multiple times and they refunded me. This may be the only option for others experiencing the same issue, as PayPal are impossible to get hold of! ... View more

I had this problem this morning too. Four payments have apparently come out for a transaction that didn't even go through! And then when i tried buying something else i attempted to buy it three times. It went though the third but now in paypal it tells me ive paid for two items a total of seven times. I contacted the sellers to see if they have recieved payment but i have heard nothing yet. Really annoyed that the Paypal number doesn't exist! I can't see an option for cancelling payments myself and when i looked at my nationwide account nothing has gone or pending. Would it be an idea to go to my local branch and get them to cancel the payments? ... View more
