I've had my refund pending now for 8 days, this is completely unacceptable, cannot get anyone to answer the simple question of when I will get my money back, the paypal advisor stated the 7 day clearance is only a "guestimate". Is this really an acceptable explanation to individuals left waiting for their money to be returned to them. Is there any other way to speed this up, other than being told you'll just have to wait.

Time will tell, I will wait and see how long its takes for my money to be returned to me. I worked in the banking sector and 7 days is more than enough time no matter how difficult it gets. I will wait till midnight, but my suspicions are my money will not be paid tonight.

I was sent a refund 7 days ago and it is still pending, paypal themselves stated it would be paid by the 24th January and it has still not been paid.( today being the 24th January) I cannot get an explanation, and phoning paypal is met by an automated response that cannot answer my questions. Where is my money and when will it be paid , Any bank would have cleared it by now. Can anyone offer an explanation!!!
