Refund pending for 8 days and rising

I've had my refund pending now for 8 days, this is completely unacceptable, cannot get anyone to answer the simple question of when  I will get my money back, the paypal advisor stated the 7 day clearance is only a "guestimate". Is this really an acceptable explanation to individuals left waiting for their money to be returned to them. Time will tell, I will wait and see how long its takes for my money to be returned to me. I worked in the banking sector and 7 days is more than enough time no matter how difficult it gets. I will wait till midnight, but my suspicions are my money will not be paid tonight. ... View more

I was sent a refund 7 days ago and it is still pending, paypal themselves stated it would be paid by the 24th January and it has still not been paid.( today being the 24th January) I cannot get an explanation, and phoning paypal is met by an automated response that cannot answer my questions. Where is my money and when will it be paid , Any bank would have cleared it by now. Can anyone offer an explanation!!! ... View more
