Refund pending for 8 days and rising

I've had my refund pending now for 8 days, this is completely unacceptable, cannot get anyone to answer the simple question of when  I will get my money back, the paypal advisor stated the 7 day clearance is only a "guestimate". Is this really an acceptable explanation to individuals left waiting for their money to be returned to them. Is there any other way to speed this up, other than being told you'll just have to wait.

I would rather be described as an advisor ON the paypal board.

NOT a paypal advisor as I do not work for paypal. I just post on the board a lot from home and as i am on holiday at the moment and its too cold to go out....I'm on here.....LOL

I strongly expect your refund will clear today. Whether its acceptable or not i can't comment on. BUT i will say paypal do use a slow system of bank transfers that is why it is so slow.
