The longest timeframe a case will generally take to be resolved is 10 days.
Has your claim been closed? Once you have a tracking number/postage receipt and your item shows as delivered to the postage address provided in the payment details you should be covered under PayPal's Seller Protection Policy.
The only other thing to keep an eye out for is that your payment shows as 'Eligible' for seller protection, you can check this by clicking on 'details' next to the payment under history.
