Good Day! I have an issue I ran into in the last couple of month. I ordered a package from a merchant, when the package arrived I noticed there was no invoice attached. I decided to return the package as it didn't fit ( it was shoes) so I went on the merchant's website and got the return intructions, printed out the invoice from their website, got the return instructions online from their website also and sent the package. The company is based in Great Britain, so I used USPS first class international mail to send my return, and that's where the problems start. USPS lost my package, and they are unable to recover it, they keep telling me they don't know where it is, because they do not have visibility with international packages. I did not get insurance for the package as the shipping to England was $25 as is... I contacted the merchant and they told me I shouldn't have sent my package to England, as they have an office in the USA! But I didn't know that because I DID NOT get an invoice. They told me if they receive the package they will process my return right away, but that didn't happen yet. I contacted the merchant on numerous occasions. The package still did not arrive and it has been since August 2012. Does any one have any suggestions or amybe have ben in a similar situation and could advice me? I really appreciate your help!
