I am looking to sell an item on my website in GBP, however if someone buys the item in another country how does the currency conversion work? Am I correct in thinking that if the conversion rate changed and I had quote $7.99 on a page (not a button) that if the conversion went against the customer, as they could only buy in GBP, then they would in fact possibly pay more than $7.99 Would it be better to show an alternative buy now button different currencies so the customer knows exactly how much they are paying? Thanks in advance.

This is a reply I got from merchant support, shame they can't have people reading posts! "There is not an option to set up shipping by weight the way that you are wanting to. You would need to either use a 3rd party shopping cart that has the features that you are needing and works with PayPal, or you would need to create a script on your side that would calculate shipping and then pass over the amount to PayPal." It seems you have to be a programmer if you want this sorting. Or pay more to a third party for a PayPal service, typical PayPal really.

Hi - I'm new to creating buttons and need the following setting up but have no idea how to do it. I want to be able to set up postage based on total weight of an order not total order value. eg. upto 4oz = £2.95 1lb = £15.00 1.5lb = 20.00 I can't seem to find anything on the creat a button site and I'm no programmer/HTML expert so I need it explaining in simple terms! Also the button needs to be compatible with the moonfruit platform. Sorry I am also UK based.
