Be careful. I cancelled my account this past summer and they reopened it. It used to show "closed account" and I check it monthly to make sure it is closed. Tonight I checked and I made a screenshot of it because it is now open. Also, they stopped using my new e-mail address to send me payment notifications but now only use my old e-mail account. The same thing has happened to me twice from the National Magazine Exchange in Seminole, FL. Paypal does not support its customers and uses poor management tactics to justify why they cannot complete a charge-back. I cancelled my account and went back to using my Chase Bank card. They have never done me wrong. ... View more

This is the message that Paypal gives to its customers regarding trying to e-mail them with a list of predetermined list of questions. IF you're lucky, which isn't often, you may have a question that matches. This is obviously Paypals business tactic of using a deceitful management tool at dissing its customers called "ignoring them".   Secondly, I cancelled my account this past summer and I have a screenshot of it showing cancelled. Tonight this site shows it being open.   I changed my e-mail but for the last few payments that I am making on the account to my old e-mail account. Paypal is NOT sending e-mail payments notifications to  my new e-mail account. IMO, this is an attempt at garnering late fees. If I don't get my payment notification, my payment is late. Payment notifications had been sent to my new e-mail account until I cancelled my account this past summer.   Lastly, I cancelled my Paypal because quite honestly, this company is not trustworthy, run like it full of high schoolers who use forum rooms, predetermined "ideas" of issues for customers to choose from and a never ending, chaotic web site which most of it is pointless. Good grief. This site is a mind-field of stupid. Why on earth do I need a forum room? I don't. What I do need is a link so I can order a new credit card which Paypal has not sent me since I've needed one three weeks ago. The autoresponse fields in this site are ridiculously skewed for simple questions and answers to avoid real discussions. The obvious "help links" do not exist. And trying to fill and send an e-mail is impossible. ... View more

Terrible online web portal

1. When trying to reach customer service, the site asks for the last four digits of a credit card and when I input them, the site tells me the numbers are invalid. 2.  I've recently updated my last name but PP has not sent me a new card. There is no "send new card" link in my account. PP is not up to par with technology and customer service and if they cannot amend this issue, I will cancel my account and go elsewhere. ... View more
