I know this is a help board and not paypal customer services and no one here can view my account. My advice is that you should go to your bank and let them know that you do not recognise that specific payment and that you would like the direct debit removed. As for a refund?I'm not sure how that woul work, but i got in touch with my bank and askd them to not allow any outgoing payments to where the payment was giong to. ... View more

The amount just does not match any record at all. I have been in touch wih the bank and an amount of exactly: £47.83 was taken out in the 21st March 2012 and here's the strange thing; Paypal said they have NO RECORD of it and yet I have all the details printed out in front of me from my Bank.   I want my £47.83 back  other wise I intend to ask EVERYONE I know on Facebook, my Twitter followers and my blogging community whether they have had the same problem and if so what they have done about it and whether they see this as fair.   Why is there no real straight answer? No it wasn't from my Domain name registrar. The amount just does not match any record at all. I have had this same problem but it does not show up on my paypal account anywhere. I have no record of making a purchase online for the amount it was showing me.   The amount was even set up as direct debit of just over £40 and on the bank statement this showed up as : JPMC RE PAYPAL INTL LTD ......... What is this?   The other problem is that since cancelling this direct debit my domain name registrar (the company that I registered a website with), whom I pay using PayPal, has contacted me letting me know that the transaction to renew my website was declined by my bank. So it seems to me probably as a result of cancelling that 'particular' direct debit I am unable to use Paypal.
