I find this truly frustrating! I put an item on eBay for sale, had a message off a potential buyer who offered me more -in cash- if I ended the auction there and then. A message popped up from eBay saying that you should not accept offers like this, so I replied to the buyer saying that I'd rather he put in a bid doing the sale through paypal, which he did winning the auction. Now I read on this forum that I should not accept paypal for collection items-thanks, that's great, my buyer is picking up the item tomorrow and I can only keep my fingers crossed that he gives me feedback so the money that paypal holds is released. Something is very wrong with this system, often people have to sell stuff just to pay a gas bill or buy some food, it's not fair for paypal to hold the money for so long. Please, please paypal think of something a bit fairer, don't penalise people in need of some cash.
