I do not expect positive feedback to be left until the buyer receives their purchase and are happy with it. My problem results from buyers receiving their purchase and ignoring my many messages to them, almost begging them to leave feedback so Paypal will release my money. Paypal if you ever read this forum and all the compalints about you  maybe you will figure out a different type of system so sellers do not have to wait forever for their money because the system you have now is totally unfair for sellers, but most likely you will not change your system because then you would not earn all that money your earning in interest off of our money. We are all taking a chance with Paypal. I have about $300. on hold, packages have been mailed, some packages have been delivered but the buyers have ignored my requests for them to leave feedback for me so my money is just sitting with Paypal and earning interest for them. I know several people that have several thousands of dollars being held by Paypal. The buyers have their very expensive purchases shipped to them, Paypal makes a ton of money daily in interest and the sellers suffer by all of their greed. I have found an alternative site for selling. I posted my first 2 items and they both sold within 24 hours and you can use Google checkout.  Ioffer.com is great for selling very popular items and they sell fast. If I can sell enough on this site I will say goodbye to Paypal and Ebay forever. Paypal is holding every single payment that I have received. I have practically begged my customers to leave feedback after receiving their purchase and they ignore me. Now I am worried about  after asking them so many times to please leave feedback they will be annoyed with me and leave bad feedback just for asking them so many times. Paypal and Ebay stink!!! How can we use the alternative payment methods that you listed if we are new sellers to Ebay? We are not allowed to use them are we? Any and all suggestions will be very much appreciated. Why have they taken your posts away? I am a new seller and I am totally aggravated with Paypal and Ebay. It seems they do not care about the smaller sellers and could care less if they make it on Ebay or not. . I am a seller with limited funds so I might not be around for very much longer. I can not afford to wait so long for money that belongs to me and not to Paypal. I really wish Google would begin an Auction site. Ebay would be blown away. There was an online petion to Google requesting that they begin an auction site. I signed it awhile back. If anyone is interested you might Google online petition for Google to begin auctions and see if the online petition is still around and sign it. Ebay and Paypal would definitely rethink treating all of their customers in such a outlandish way. We are all being taken advantage of and they have us over a barrel by keeping our money for such a long time. I guess if we choose to continue selling on Ebay we will have to put up with them. I am a new seller to Ebay and I have received several small payments via Paypal and every single payment has been held. Buyers have received their purchase in a timely manner, I left positive feedback for them in hope they will leave positive feedback for me when they receive their package, but no, that is obviously too much too expect, even after I have emailed them and explained that Paypal will not let me have my money because you will not leave feedback, not in those exact words, but similar. So after emailing the buyers for the past three days explaining this, still no feedback. It would be great to accept checks and money orders only but according to Ebays policy we can not offer those payment methods, why, because Paypal and Ebay will not make money off of our payments we receive from customers. So what can we do if we want to sell on Ebay and not use Paypal, are there any options?  I am thinking about other payment methods, but being a new seller I think I am required to offer Paypal?
