About 2 weeks ago I bought a 2nd hand alarm clock from Preloved.co.uk, paid for through Paypal. Everything went well and I received the clock a few days later. The clock worked fine for 3 days and then stopped working completely. I contacted the seller who told me that the clock worked before she sent it, it was 3 years old and so is out of warranty so I rang the manufacturer. The manufacturer do offer a repair service and this is likely to cost around £40. I paid £43 for the clock and with another £40 on top so I will have paid £83 for a 2nd clock that is only £100 new! Obviously I'm not a happy old soul about this and so wondered whether I would be covered by Paypal buyer protection?? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
