It is because I typed down a large amount of money by accident. Here is my reply below and I'm very VERY angry and disapointed. What kind of reply if this, it's like paypal didn't even read what I wrote properly. NO ONE has not been on my account. I don't want to send 1 million GBP on paypal. All I wanted to do was send 5,168 yen to someone but I accidentally put down the wrong amount. No way would I ever give or trust paypal with my bank details x_x Aye, this is so fustrating. I want this to be resolved already. Oh yeah, Happy St.Patricks Day everyone! Dear xxx xxx, Thank you for contacting PayPal. I understand that you are inquiring about the error that you reached the sending limit on your account. Upon carefully reviewing your account, it is showing that you still have a remaining sending limit £x,xxx.xx GBP on PayPal. If you will make a payment more than this amount, the system will ask to you to verify your account to lift sending limit. When you open a PayPal account we want to get you up and running as quickly as possible, so we only ask for essential information. However, as a financial institution, we have to comply with laws and regulations, including limits on new accounts. There is a sending limit placed on each transaction and an annual sending limit. These limits are there because we have not verified certain information about you. Our verification process confirms your bank account details, which in turns helps us to prevent fraud such as identity theft. Once you become Verified and we lift the sending limits on your PayPal account you can make unlimited purchases on eBay and other online shops. To become Verified, log in to your PayPal account and click the 'Get Verified' link on your Account Overview page and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: • If your sending limit is £0 when you open your PayPal account, we will ask you get verified before you can send any money • Once your limit is reached, payments cannot be sent until you become Verified • If you receive a refund, the refunded amount will be credited back to your remaining sending limit amount Thank you for choosing PayPal. Yours sincerely, Joanne PayPal
