This other thread from months ago says the email regarding upgrading to a business account is just a "gremlin" and no longer applies: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Receiving-money/Can-I-receive-credit-card-payments-on-a-personal-account/td-p/262556 I still got the email too but was able to accept my first payment to a personal account that apparently came in via credit card (or at least the bogus email said it did). The money became available at paypal a few days after the usps tracking said it arrived at the buyer (I bought the shipping label from eBay).
