Of course, the fastest payment is having enough money in Paypal to cover the amount to be payed. Then the slowest payment method is paypal going to my BankAccount to get the money because there is not enough in the Paypal account.. To be faster, I thought if I put a Prepaid Visa Card on my account, say $50 it would allow for payment immediately. Item was $31 and $10 shipping. Prevented the delay of 5-10 days going to my Canadian Bank. An easily way to put money on Paypal. Just go to the local drugstore and buy a Prepaid Visa and change the Visa creditcard number for the newcard. However, here is the Chicken or Egg Question. If my bank account has been VERIFED and now I have become A PREMIUM ACCOUNT, What happens to payment if I also add a Credit Card, Where will PayPal go to get the money when the balance in Paypal is not sufficent to pay the item. To the Credit Card (the egg in the hand) or the Bank account (taking much longer in times (chicken)) My daughter says, I should cancel the Bank Account option if I use the Prepaid Card. Her experience, was she had both on her PayPal account, and when the PayPal balance was not enough for the Payment she was making, that PayPal did not go to the Prepaid Credit Card but made a request to the bank. She said... . Should one cancel the Bank Account if one starts to use Prepaid CreditCards? .. Can one define what is the primary payment source (eg: the CreditCard) before any requesting from the Bank ?. When PayPal, went to her Bank Account first instead of the Prepaid CreditCard, I asked if maybe the problem was there was not enough cash on the Card to make the full payment. Then it would seem natural that PayPal went to the bank account for the total balance instead of a small amount after the Credit Card was empty. Does this Happen ? Can one assume that PayPal would go for the full amount of the invoice, If the Prepaid Credit Card was not sufficently full ? Why this should happen?, Some supplierslike my last one I used from e-bay, charges all the different Provincial (canadian) Sales Taxes on the invoice. I though I knew the total of the product and shipping and expected tax but until the invoice, I did not know. and I do not want it to go to my bank.. (Now I have $103 in PayPal (with Prepaid Visa) but taxes brought it up to $108) Evereything is on hold as money forwarded to PayPal is processed. So now it also appears that the seller requested only CreditCard Payments. and I can not send it to the bank even if I am willing to accept the 5 - 10 days delay. Sorry so long, but differently a Chicken or Egg question. Which Comes First... The Credit Card and then when empty the Bank Account.. Or the Bank Account when PayPal balance is not enough for the invoice..even if a prepaid Credit Card is present. Thank you
