I want to add funds to my usd Paypal acct. from my Canadian bank account. When I go through the steps and put $1000 in the box, is it going to take $1000 Canadian? or U.S. dollars out of my account?

Okay, to change your primary shipping address do it in your MY EBAY. It's linked to Paypal. Open your My Ebay. Go to Account. On the left panel click on Addresses and in there you can change it. Once your Primary shipping address is your USA one, you should be permitted to bid in USA only auctions.

I don't have an answer to this but I'm in the same situation. I'd like to change/ delete some addresses as well as occasionally change my set primary address and can't figure how to do it.

I should add it's tricky to change your Paypal default/primary shipping addresses. I've found I can only do it during a purchase. So it's best if you leave your primary shipping address as the US one, then if you have something you want shipped to the Cdn address just choose "change address" when sending a payment and choose the Cdn one for that specific purchase only.

Hey I'm in the same situation as you. I just figured out the fix. In Paypal change your primary shipping address to the US address you use. It must be set as the Primary one. Now you won't be blocked form purchasing from ships US only auctions.
