I was able to add money to my account about a month ago after about 20 tries over two weeks. All the other tries I kept getting the error prompt from Paypal that said "Something is not working right now." Well, yeah, I can tell that. Not just right now but every other time but once in the last two months. I think the annoying captcha that they added to practically every click function in the process is balling up the process. Was a captcha really necessary here? Isn't that really redundant given the other thick layers of security they have enabled? I mean they make you log in again and then feel a need to throw a captcha into the process. Stupid. I notice they have captcha function just to post this message on this board. Why? What is the purpose of that? I'm not seeing it. Like some dark force is going to hack their message board. I've seen captcha functions messing up processes at other web sites. They're like a virus. I kept trying and trying in January and it finally went through. But my dozens of attempts over the last few days have been unsuccessful. Since I joined managed payments at Ebay those sales funds are not going into Paypal any more. So I have to add money to keep up with three different auto debits. Two monthly and one quarterly. If I can't add money it endangers those payment set-ups and accounts. This is disturbing and they haven't fixed it despite my calling for help. They couldn't even identify the problem on their end. But the error prompt is in-house. It's from them. I'm going to have to make other arrangements or close my Paypal acccount after being a customer for almost 20 years. I don't know what else to do. If I can't add money, my Paypal account is useless to me. I'll have insufficient funds. I've already called about it with no resolution. They couldn't even identify the problem on their end. First noticed this problem in December. What do I do now? I'm out of answers. So is Paypal. How do I get money in there? I only have one bank. I called my credit union about it and they said it is Paypal's problem to resolve. Well it's also my problem. Big time.
