"Reply to maomao: "Reply to maomao:   They would "be crashed with the antcipated overload of activity" because.......?" "Reply to maomao:   They would "be crashed with the antcipated overload of activity" because.......?"   I'm not sure what the question is. Let me restate that point: when a payment processor can reasonably expect their operating functions to be interrupted, crashed and frozen, because of one merchant/recipient, it's a reasonable expectation that the processor will stop processing for that one merchant. That way, their operating functions will not be interrupted b/c of the overload. ... View more

In April I established a subscription payment. In November, in an unrelated action, I deleted 1 of 1 backup funding sources from my PP account. In December, my sub payment failed. PP tells me, by email and phone, that my pmt failed b/c I deleted 1 back up funding source. In April I established a subscription payment. It would not have been true if they had told me that! So, this pmt failure and PP-originated sub cancellation failed for purely theoretical reasons that have no basis in whether or not funding was available. When you establish a subscription payment, or when a customer establishes a sub payment with you, when anything about that PP account's funding is changed, the payments will suddenly fail. ... First of all, PP, Visa, Mastercard, my local credit union and any other payment vehicle is NOT complicit in ANYTHING just because they are used to make payments. Pragmatic logistics. Look up those words. You can find dictionaries online, too, for real. ... View more
