In April I established a subscription payment. In November, in an unrelated action, I deleted 1 of 1 backup funding sources from my PP account. In December, my sub payment failed. PP tells me, by email and phone, that my pmt failed b/c I deleted 1 back up funding source. In April I established a subscription payment. It would not have been true if they had told me that! So, this pmt failure and PP-originated sub cancellation failed for purely theoretical reasons that have no basis in whether or not funding was available. When you establish a subscription payment, or when a customer establishes a sub payment with you, when anything about that PP account's funding is changed, the payments will suddenly fail.
