How would my PO know what was on the package? I plan to call the PO the seller shipped the item from tomorrow. This seller sent me another shipment since and it arrived. If the seller shipped with the same address on the package, why would the barcode on the package be for another address? As far as I'm concerned, I paid for the item. The problem is between the seller and the post office. If I'd ordered something from Toys R Us and they sent it to someone else by mistake, I would still want the item I bought. eBay reminds buyers that they are entering into a contract with the seller, and the opposite applies. The seller is in a contract with the buyer. Because the post office may or may not have delivered it to someone else, how should that affect me? Does that mean I am not entitled to the items I bought? If so, the whole eBay premise is false. A customer is a customer. The seller's choice of shipment method does not negate the contract between the seller and the buyer. It's very simple. The seller is upset with me because I sent a very strongly worded message once I arrived home on Christmas day. I felt so bad about giving my d-in-law a copy of the two items as her Christmas gift. The seller insisted that she'd shipped the items to me. When I checked the tracking number, I saw it was delivered to MD. How can the seller KNOW that she didn't mislabel my package? Given that the seller sold multiple items, it is likely that my package had the wrong label on it. Bottom line, IMHO, is I paid for two items. The seller has them. I should receive the items. Better late than never. The seller needs to resolve the matter with the PO. Anyway, if the package was mislabeled, would the PO be responsible? I don't think so.
