I ordered auto parts from a susidiary of US AutoParts. 2 front shocks & 2 rear shocks. The 2 rear shocks arrived in good condition, no problem. A second truck delivered a package which was for the 2 front shocks. When opened, the package only held 1 shock... and it was missing parts(nuts, washers, bushings). There was a piece of paper that stated 1 shock was on back-order & time of arrival unknown. I contacted the seller immediately to inform them of the problems. They assured me everything would be taken care of & I'd be reimbursed in full as soon as they recieved the 1 front shock w/ missing parts. The order for the 2nd shock was to be cancelled. A week went by w/ no return label, email notification, nothing! I called back another week later to check the status. It was entered in their system, but NEVER processed!!! I opened a Paypal dispute at that time. They sent me a return label for the 1 front shock. After a fiasco w/ the shipping label ( wrong RMA# for destination), the package was sent and arrived at their location. End of story, right??? WRONG!!! They only want to refund me for the 1 shock I returned, not for the 1 I never recieved! I know what you're thinking... it's simple math; 1+1=2. Apparently that's way too difficult to understand. After a whole month went by w/ no resolution, I was forced to escalate the dispute to a claim. I thought I could rest easy, Paypal will help w/ all this nonsense, right??? WRONG!!! They, again, offered to refund the money for one shock instead of two. I, again, declined & stated I need a refund for 2 front shocks, one I returned and one I never recieved. Plain & simple, straight forward, right down the middle. Surely Paypal would step up to the plate & knock this one out of the park, right??? WRONG AGAIN!!! Paypal ruled in favor of US Auto Parts. Kudos to Paypal! They just gave nearly $100 of a good buyer's money to a dirty seller. Why am I wrong to want money back for returned items???
