My summary page shows one thing.  When I click on my favorite page: Activity (including balance & fees) it shows something else and it is missing payments that are on the summary page.  I use this page all the time because it shows (usually) the running balance and the fees.  Recently I have to fiddle with it to get it to show the running balance.  This discrepancy of the balance has never happened in the years I have used Paypal but has happened twice recently.  The last payment was over 2.5 hours ago.  Seems like that should be enough time for the balances to match up.     Ever since Paypal stopped refunding fees, this has been an issue.       ... I think I figured out how to generate buttons using data in my database using PHP.  This will save me soooo much time and frustration over using the buttons generated on the paypal site.  The website button generation is a great tool and I ran the site for a few years this way.  Now I'm ready for the next step.   I don't like the idea of my paypal address hanging out there.  What is the best way to hide this from bots and spammers.  I read something about certificates but  I need a broad overview.  What do they do?  Is there a cost?  Are there other ways? ...
