I purchased two items from a seller in early July. One was in stock, the other he had listed as expected to arrive mid-August. I'm nearing 45 days since payment. I mostly sell, so I'm not 100% familiar with terms regarding non-delivery. I was under the impression a buyer only has 45 days from payment to open a case in order to be covered under buyer protection. Is this not true? Are the protections not triggered by purchase date, but by estimated delivey date? FWIW, I told buyer I would open the case, not threatening him, but just to protect myself, and he totally understood. For those who use the overnight transfer service:   I've been using this feature for about a year now, without problem.     My last two transfers have both not arrived the next day.   I have made the transfers before the evening deadline and have time-stamped e-mails confirming the transfers.   So I called CS to see if there was an issue on my end that needed to be corrected.  CS told me this is a "new program" and that there's currently a "glitch" they are aware of in the overnight transfer program that is preventing transfers from arriving overnight.   Okay.  While I don't buy that it's a "new" program when it's a year deep, I'm happy to know they are aware of and trying to solve the issue.   That said, not notifying users is bad buisness and I poltely said so, explaining that Paypal expects certain things from me and if I was going to be derelict, I would, at minimum, notify them.   And I was hung up on.   Way NOT to do it, PayPal. ...
