Thank you for the response. I'm an eBay Community Mentor so I'm knowledgeable about PayPal seller protection. Yes, I met all the PayPal requirements to be covered by PayPal seller protection, however, this is a chargeback attempt and there is no way to respond to this case. I can't find any way to call PayPal and let them know about the messages this buyer sent after they purchased the item. I don't think PayPal has access to eBay messages. I just wondered if there was a way to actually call PayPal. I've called in the past but due to this pandemic, I guess there is no way to call. It's been my experience that PayPal will rule for the buyer when an unauthorized charge is claimed. I don't think this account was compromised. Anyway, thank you for your response.

A buyer has opened a PayPal case claiming unauthorized transaction. There is no way to respond to this case since PayPal is investigating. I see no way to actually contact a PayPal rep. The "virtual agent" is useless. Does anyone know how to actually call PayPal? Thank you for any help.

Hi, I need help for another eBay seller. He has an eBay seller account with a PayPal business account linked. He wants to know if he can unlink that PayPal account and link a different PayPal business account to his eBay account. Thanks for any help!

I would like to give a partial refund to an eBay buyer. I have found the payment transaction in my PayPal account and I see the option to "Refund this payment". If I click that will I be given the option to enter the amount I want to refund? Thanks!

Hi, I'm actually asking this question for another member who is located in Bulgaria. They have sold their first two items and are getting messages for both transactions saying the payment is being initiated through PayPal. When the seller goes to his PayPal account there are no payments showing at all. No funds on hold and no e-checks showing. He has checked to make sure his email address is the same in the listing as in his PayPal account, he has linked his eBay and PayPal accounts, and has a Premier PayPal account. His buyers are located in Brazil and Russia. He has only used his PayPal account once and that was as a buyer. Any ideas as to what's wrong?
