I HATE Captcha things - I always have problems with them and have stopped using sites that require them. Today I notice Paypal has added one to its login page for reasons unknown 😞 Its taken much longer for me to log in since I seem to never get the things right the first time and no clue if it will lock me out after too many wrong attempts (my record in tryng to get into a captcha required site was 56 - never did manage it and used their competitor with no captcha instead).   Is there a setting where we can turn that off maybe? I already use an ecyrpted random password so see no reason for a stupid captcha form too 😞 ... View more

Paypal credit banner should open in a new window

I have had a paypal javascript banner on my store for a while and realize it does not open in a new window but takes anyone who clicks on it away from my store. Not a good thing. Since it is javascript, I do not know how to change it and have not found any options to have it open either in a popup window or new window. anyone know how?   Until I figure it out, I've change to using the email banner ad code so I can ad the standard target=blank to the link since it is html, but I do not believe it will auto update the banners if they change???   ... You should see "Package/Thick Envelope" as one of the package size options - I think it is the 4th one down. If not, you might want to contact customer service to see why.  ... View more

Provide the information Paypal is requesting and then call customer service. They can usually clear the limitation faster if you contact them once they have any information they asked for. I have had my account limited a couple of times over the years and it usually goes pretty fast   FYI you should really have a backup payment method available - I keep a credit card for emergencies like that.  ... Would be very nice if a filter was added to be able to view all pending authorizations I've recieved for orders. I do all my sales as authorizations so I can verify orders and product availability and right now, there is no way to be able to easily view all such authorizations. I can view batches for those paid via credit card via batch capture (though you cannot then easily open one to view/capture it individually), but this doesn't show those that are pending via paypal. Still a pain to search for each order by name/email etc.  ... View more

Yes, it will fall off if not completed. You can also call Paypal and ask them to remove the hold (I did this once when a vendors large charge for some reason authorized multiple times and tied up all the funds in my account).  ... View more

Auto withdrawal to checking account

Is it possible to set up an auto withdrawal of say $50 a day from my paypal account to my bank account? I'd like to do this for expense budgeting and sort of paying myself a salary.    I found an old topic about auto sweep but that seems to sweep your entire paypal balance (if it's still available) and I just want to do a fixed amount.
