Hi everyone! I'd like to start running promotions on Twitter, starting today. Our website just accepts PayPal at the moment and there is nowhere to put in a coupon code. What we'd like to do is have a promotion on certain pieces of jewelry in the store, and give back $20 into the customer's PayPal account. For instance, today we'd like to do something like "Buy the Sterling Silver horse bracelet and get $20 into your PayPal account!" Is this acceptable? If, say, there are 10 customers who buy, and they each receive $20 from me, does PayPal frown on that? Does it look like a refund to PayPal? Are refunds marks against the merchant? Also, would we take the $20 out of their payment for the bracelet and put it back, or would we do a separate payment of $20? Lastly, if they receive $20, are PayPal fees taken out of their account? I wouldn't want that to happen because it's quite embarrassing to not receive the full $20 as promised. Thank you for your help.
