I opened a case through eBay buyer protection two or three weeks ago because I received the wrong item from a seller, but they did not accept returns. All in all, I was offered a full refund for the item. I followed through and returned the item to the seller, and after a few days I got a very short email from PayPal saying that the seller had issued a refund. This was on October 31st, and after two full days my account still does not show any refund to the funds. Does it normally take this long? Is it possible that the refund went to the credit card on file instead of being returned to the PayPal funds (where it was paid from)?
