I'm sure that if I enter this contest and spend all week doing Paypal's Advertising and video work,  I will have a much better chance at winning the thousand dollars?   I mean can you do this with a straight face Payapal?    "A THOUSAND BUCKS" for all of the tens of millions you make off of us?  A THOUSAND BUCKS?   Have you no shame?    Maybe you could give losing lessons and charge $200 a session.  ... I am one who does not use a mobile phone.  I think people who do are rude and destined for brain cancer.  Too often I have spoke with folks who weren't even talking to me.  I couldn't imagine paying for the opportunity to be such an idiot as those folks are. Actually I don't have time to leave home after clicking seventeen times just to  pay for something.  Nor do I have the funds to afford a mobile server since ebay is my only gig.  I am just trying to keep my electricity on so I don't have to go to the library to print labels again. The politics of ebay and paypal and their buyer protection creates fertile ground for nit picky customers who wring you out and leave you to rot in a ditch over some silly little non problem they imagined in the first place or made up to cover their buyer's remorse.  Anyways I get left out again for being smart.  I have not subscribed to the mobile frenzy of bs apps like the masses seem to have. I doubt I will win any contest for my  addition of my "mobile app experience"  but I wouldn't expect to anyways.  I don't  play the lotto  nor enter silly contests  that are giving away a whoppping  $2500 bucks to their customers who collectively  have spent billions on the site.  I see that as the ultimate cheap shot.  Am we supposed to be all excited?  Am we stupid?   ... You are responsible for all Reversals, Chargebacks, Claims, fees, fines, penalties and other liability incurred by PayPal, a User, or a third party caused by or arising out of your breach of this Agreement, and/or your use of the PayPal Services. You agree to reimburse PayPal, a User, or a third party for any and all such liability     So technically speaking,  according to Preypal,  it's ebay sellers whom are it's paying customers, are responsible even for all of the "penalties",  ( penalties for credit card and identity theft could  include jail time, wage garnishment,  and limitations imposed on free trade such as ability to hold a checking account etc)     So paypal in it's user agreement  lays even criminal penalties upon not guilty fools who are stupid enough to agree to such preposterous terms, and make an honest living using ebay whom requires it's users to accept paypal which requires them to agree to go to jail for acts committed by others and also pay for any car crash injuries the identity theif causes on his way to the internet cafe to make the fake order to your ebay item.   The terms used are so vague I hardly believe they could possibly  be legal.  You can not just waive criminal liability onto another via fine print in a contract.   The user agreement could not be legal.  Paypal should lose any competent challenge to this in any competent court.  What do you think?   Are you ready to do the theif's jail time?  Do you still agree even after your sixth month of incarceration and 97'th serving of unsalted undercoooked lima beans?   This amounts to a userous and illegal contract.  But heck, monopolies are illegal too, but we don't see that enforced,  instead we see paypal and ebay BOTH on the us postage?  Maybe that's why ebay claims money is not safe,   they want their logo on it too?    Let's enforce the monopoly and antitrust laws that paypal violates first.   I think that's a better idea than me serving time for somebody else,  which is paypal's idea.   Fine print should be given proportional weight to the fine-ness of the print.   The large print should have more weight in court.   Now I bet your brain is smoking?    Can you process it?   ~ Winning ... To the brown-nosing "redpower"  who asks "do you really expect paypal to cover this?" and the four kudo-ers.   I agree with the OP,   YES we expect either ebay or paypal to cover this.  They are the ones with all the large print saying Seller protection,  and baity phrases like "we got you covered"   On top of this, ebay ends listings when they even contain the word "cash"  and publicly state that they don't allow their sellers to accept cash, because it is not a "safe form of payment" Not safe for their pocketbook I think they mean.  So after a company goes against the legal tender for all debts public AND PRIVATE,  slandering it as "unsafe"  Yes we expect them to cover it.  Yes indeed we do.    By the way,  I don't require ebay or paypal's permission for anything I do.  I am a free person living in the modern day fascist military industrial complex police state called the USA.  Free only because I do what I want regardless of rules or laws.  Funny that  ebay and paypal are actually printed on the postage now.  The govt has become unified with corporations, banks, car manufacturers etc, This is so wrong.  I have to end this post before I puke on my keyboard. ... I shipped an item to Canada, Printed Customs and Postage with Paypal.  Got LC*~*US  number   customs form # paypal told me replaces tracking number.    USPS online confirms me giving them package.    Customer notices "tracking" number never updates after that (they are not delivery confirmation numbers)   So he pretends he didn't receive it and files claim.  I asked him what his request was for specifically and provided him proof of mailing.  He said he wanted money back with the product.   (he used the word with)  but this was a non received claim.  Anyways,  I ask him how much he want's back "with" the product.    So he escalates and has paypal pry $40 out of my wallet and hand it to him.  So I just wanted to share my horrible experience  with others.    Canada can kiss my blank,  I will not ship there again.  And paypal will live up to every negative and  scary greedy clause on their purposefully small and fine print.  They offered a shipping method that is unsafe and can not confirm if they receive it.  Seller protection is misleading.  Paypal has not protected me from scammers,  they partner up with these scammers and help them rob me.  I have a huge record proving I don't "not ship" anything.  This slimeball has 14 buyer points. and they trust him over me and the post offices?   Come on!   Where is intelligence and reason ?   And why did you offer me flat rate international envelope when you know it can not have delivery confirmation?   Because why?  I paid for it,  and there was no warning that I would get no delivery confirmation with "flat rate envelope" or flat rate small box.  Am I supposed to believe 1/3 the mail to Canada gets stolen or lost?    Ebay does.   Paypal and ebay offer rewards for lying against sellers, and fraud..  They give your full payment back.   See folks crime does pay.    It will only get worse too.   Count me in.  **bleep** it I am doing some hard drugs after seeing this neg I got today from this jerk who got free product , a refund,  and left me a neg.   **bleep** the new orders.   Being perfect just makes your bottom-hole sore. ...
