Today I was subject to an unauthorized "payment to" and "payment from". I have submitted the "payment to" issue to the Resolution Center and I certainly hope that it all works out and that I am not debited the money; however, it appears I already have been as my account is showing a negative balance. However, with regards to the "payment from", I did not request a payment and the other person in question did not authorize a payment. She has since submitted an unauthorized claim, and I have no problem with her 'winning" her claim -- apparently this happened to her 7 times today! EEK. That being said, it says now on my "Resolution" page that I need to respond with an action. The only actions available to me are to: -- Provide Shipping Information (which there is none, because she didn't buy anything and I didn't send anything -- see again, UNAUTHORIZED in BOTH DIRECTIONS) -- I have not shipped the item and I will refund the payment. (Well, there is no item to ship and there are no funds in my account to refund -- the funds were held today upon her claim and I have no funds from her to refund.) -- I have refunded the payment for this transaction (Again -- I have no funds in my account from her to refund to her, so how can I possible perform a refund?) I am at a loss as to what to do next with this claim. I don't want this to be a black mark on my account considering that we were BOTH victims in this situation. There are no funds to refund but there are no other actions available to me. Add to that, I am dealing with my own unauthorized claim and because the payment was approved (I didn't even know it was there!!!), my account is now negative so I am unable to suspend my payment devices which I would really like to do so that whoever did this to me cannot run up my credit card or clear out my bank account with. This is freaking me out. Thoughts?
