On July 20th someone used my paypal to buy something from some company I had never heard of. When I came home and checked my email I saw all these emails from paypal saying that I had purchased a total of $200. I immediately filed an unauthorized claim because I never bought these things! I was never even home! I waited about total of 10 days. At first the status of the claim said that they had sent an email to the seller. They sent two more emails to the seller because I assume they weren't responding (?) Anyways, the status updated to being reviewed by paypal for a few days. Tired of waiting, on august 1st, I sent paypal an email asking them how long it would take because it didn't seem like anything was happening. Suddenly I get an email that there was insucifficent evidence and that my case was closed?! I am really upset and I don't know what to do. I barely use paypal so I was surprised there was even a charge to my pp account. Is there anything i can do? repeal? Am I just out the money? Can I call my bank - can they even do anything?
