I've been trying to apply for Paypal Credit, because my account was closed recently due to inactivity, and I would like to pay tuition for a training course that is being offered locally via paypal. Here's the problem, each time I click the "apply" link, whether I'm on my own computer, iPad, my wifes computer, or my cell phone, I get error message 3005, stating that PayPal is experiencing some difficulties right now. I need to have this application and fee in within 24 hours if I'm guaranteed entry to the course. Here's where the plot thickens. I've called customer support twice. The first time I was transfered to the Extras MasterCard dept, where I was told there was nothing they could do. The second time I was ensured that the support guy, Romeo, would explain my situation to the Extras Mastercard Dept, and that they could process over the phone. When transfered, I was informed that they CANNOT do that, and that I was lied too. Furthermore, I was blamed for the issue, being told that their tech department found nothing wrong, and that I should reboot my system. I told her that I've tried on 4 different devices, using five different web browsers. She responded with, "just wait 48 hours then". In 48 hours the course will be full and I will be out of luck.
