Three days ago, I made an online payment on this computer and browser, using the paypal balance. It went through and there were no problems. Today, when I tried to do the same thing for another payment, when the paypal window pops up to pay, the option to select my Paypal balance as the payment method is missing. Only my bank account shows up. There is enough money in my paypal balance. It is also in the correct currency. I spent more than an hour in a call with customer support person and they could not figure out a cause or a solution for my problem. I asked to be transferred to someone else or a technical support four times and they refused to do it every time, in the end they claimed there was nothing else to be done except for try to make a payment again in 24 hours. I asked if they were doing anything on their end during those 24 hours, they said no. They also repeatedly claimed that the problem was not on Paypal's end, and they stated there was no problem with my account. As such, there is no reason to believe that Paypal will somehow return access to my Paypal balance in 24 hours. Has anyone ever encountered this, and how could they solve it?
