Dear Patronizing **bleep** that moderate this thread:   If you read my posts PROPERLY you would have understood that:   1. the problem ONLY occurs with paypal website. Login to secure servers on other websites is practically instantaneous. Buffering video or music takes a couple of seconds. ONLY paypal's website takes up to 1 minute to login or to load a page. By process of elimination.... the problem must be with paypal and not my PC, see?   2. I houseclean my PC regularly. Not just clearing cookies and cache, but also removing unused programmes, cleaning the registry, deleting old temp files, un-needed windows update files etc. etc.   Instead of insulting our intelligence, why don't you just say something meaningless like, "We're sorry you're experiencing problems, we're looking into it". Which we know you probably aren't, but at least you wouldn't **bleep** everyone off. Maybe try upgrading your system from that old Spectrum 48K that you've been using.... ... View more

I do housekeeping on my PC regularly.   Paypal is by far the slowest website I use. I can log into other websites and load pages on other websites virtually instantaneously.   Paypal is the ONLY website to make me wait so long to load pages. It is also very common when browsing to paypal to get the 'server not found' message. ... View more

Is it just me, or is anyone else fed up of waiting 2-3 minutes to log in to paypal, and on average 30 seconds for each web page to load? This is the slowest website I use BY FAR.   And yet, other websites - many of which are free to use and have much more content to load (youtube etc.) - manage to load pages, media etc. in a fraction of the time paypal takes. And we pay for paypal!   PAYPAL - you are the worst website I use, and one of the most expensive services I pay for. SORT YOURSELVES OUT WHILE YOU STILL HAVE CUSTOMERS!!!! ... View more

How does Paypal get away with being so **bleep**? As soon as there is an alternative I will defect!!!   I had a message from paypal saying "The buyers bank has reversed the transaction". I queried this with my buyer as, fortunately, I had her phone number. She said:   1. She had not cancelled or reversed the transaction 2. She had enough funds in her account to cover the transaction (it was only £18) 3. She knew of no reason why her bank would request a reversal of the transaction on her behalf & her bank had not queried the transaction with her 4. She had received the items I sent her fine and was happy to pay for them   I tried contacting Paypal with this information and got no reply to the information I supplied. Instead I got an email saying "As you have not replied we are going to deduct the funds from your account" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I phoned up the Paypal call centre (they don't put the phone number anywhere on their site that I can find!), and, as usual these days, got someone with a rubbish grasp of English who couldn't help me at all. My emails were basically ignored.   There is no way Paypal can say they investigated this case. All I got was system generated responses which failed to address the issues at all. What a load of bollocks! As I said, when I find an alternative, I will leave Paypal as they are: uncontactable, unhelpful, ineffective and bloody expensive for such a crap service!   SORT YOURSELVES OUT PAYPAL!!!!!!!!!!   ...
