How does Paypal get away with being so **bleep**? As soon as there is an alternative I will defect!!! I had a message from paypal saying "The buyers bank has reversed the transaction". I queried this with my buyer as, fortunately, I had her phone number. She said: 1. She had not cancelled or reversed the transaction 2. She had enough funds in her account to cover the transaction (it was only £18) 3. She knew of no reason why her bank would request a reversal of the transaction on her behalf & her bank had not queried the transaction with her 4. She had received the items I sent her fine and was happy to pay for them I tried contacting Paypal with this information and got no reply to the information I supplied. Instead I got an email saying "As you have not replied we are going to deduct the funds from your account" !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I phoned up the Paypal call centre (they don't put the phone number anywhere on their site that I can find!), and, as usual these days, got someone with a rubbish grasp of English who couldn't help me at all. My emails were basically ignored. There is no way Paypal can say they investigated this case. All I got was system generated responses which failed to address the issues at all. What a load of bollocks! As I said, when I find an alternative, I will leave Paypal as they are: uncontactable, unhelpful, ineffective and bloody expensive for such a crap service! SORT YOURSELVES OUT PAYPAL!!!!!!!!!!
