Sorry I didn't get back to you. Just go to money mart and purchase a prepay CC not a gift card. And put the balance from those cards onto the new prepay reloadable card. You will lose a few bucks but thats better than wasting them.

Is that the point of this disscussion? The fact that Paypal has not officailly been hacked or the fact that if it was it wouldn't be officially released. That is not the discussion. The discussion is security at our end. That information I posted, is it a concern for paypal people? You bet it is. Is paypal going to offer a service that is obviously in demand buy allowing registered financial accounts like credit cards to be the sole option on their paypal account? This is the disscussion and it was also the disscution on the feedback form/survey I sent in today. Would you agree that a way to hack in to paypal has been discoverd by these individuals? Not a direct hack into paypal but the method listed above would be a security threat to paypal customers and by allowing those to use CC's on the accounts would serve the user and satisfy those who are concered and would like the service? This is the disscution and ignoring it by hiding behind a "It wasn't us" stance is ignoring the real issue. Cheers, PS

Yes, you need a bank account to "Track Spending". I use a Prepaid CC. I don't want any other info present. Sure paypal hasn't been hacked ever, but neither had Sony with all their customers info. It's great to say we have never been hacked yet, but it certainly isn't impossible. Paypal needs to adapt or users can simply pick other online services that will accommodate. Also the spell checker doesn't include "paypal".

You can go to a money mart and obtain a prepay CC that acts exactly like a CC. Don't use a gift card as it will just be a waste. The Prepay CC is reloadable and secured.
