PayPal Community

Just two questions --  when paypal notation on listing says funds not available until..................does that mean I should wait to ship until then (used to get a notice when fees were pending) or do I go ahead and ship. PayPal account has plenty of funds so don't quite understand why the holdup. Also when item is shipped using ebay printing, etc. they still don't show up as shipped on paypal. When I try to manually insert the shipping/tracking information it reverts back to show not shipped.  Another question is does this payments pending going to affecft my purchasing power ? i..e. my account shows $500 but $450 is pending funds available. Does this mean I cannot purchase anything on ebay over $50.00 ? Any help available ?  I"m really not stupid, just a little foggy this am.  I hate to hold up customers packages so long because I usually ship within 24 hours of auction payment. ... View more

Just wanted to add my voice on this subject - has been going on for some time and I've posted before. The tracking information isn't going from ebay to paypal.  When I try to enter it manually it takes - temporarily- then reverts back to showing unshipped.  This is very frustrating especially when you have a lot of payments to sort out between ebay and website purchases. After printing shipping labels with ebay I check PayPal and the transaction says not shipped. I try to input the shipping information in PayPal and it keeps resetting back to "not shipped".   Don't these two talk anymore ?  Help - takes a lot of time to try to constantly update two programs. ... For some reason just lately when I print a shipping label from Ebay it doesn't show up as shipped on the PayPal listing. Makes it difficult when I go to PayPal to ship non-ebay items to have to "weed" them out from the already shipped ebay items and then have to go back and remove the info and add tracking to the ebay items. Lately when I use My Ebay to print shipping labels they still show up as not shipped in PayPal.  Then I have to go to PayPal and remove shipping labels to get the data correct there. I use My Ebay - items needing shipped program to print my labels. Any suggestions or solutions ?  Thanks ! ... View more
