No for example I sold a game that already had great gear toons for 350 and after the money was completed and i already put it in a bank account they was able to take the money back so my account is -350 now on paypal. The can just say that they didnt authurize the payment that there son did or that they got hacked.  What ever the case soon as they send you the money then can take it back up to 45 days after they send it.  Make sure you go threw ebay they might be more of help then paypal but paypal dont really care.   But yeah i took the money out soon as i could and a day or 2 later they guy took it back so im not really out of the money i dont think because i also closed that bank account but i wont be able to use paypal anymore its a shame i was going to buy a 6600 pc threw them lol. ... I'm really confused paypal can't make up there mind. For instance I have read where if you buy a virtual item they protect the seller.  And me i was a seller they protected the buyer. So what the heck are they doin?  I mean virtual items are clearly going to be sold so why not state a side that there going to be on instead of going for who ever is the higher paypal usser? ... Sorry the same thing happened to me. I think unauthorized activity is code for scammed the guy now give my money back to me. But the rules say they can't put your balance into a negative one but it did mine. I think paypal is probably helping people buy and resell virtual items I bet if I bought a virtual item and wanted my money back they would tell me sorry for your luck so I say that the guys doing this kind stuff are actually paypal founder members. The guy that got me was goldwingtom at hotmail he has been with paypal like 8-9 years yet they say they ban people that do what he was doing im sure he does it all the time.   After review, we found that this unauthorized activity claim is valid. When they took the money back from me from selling a online game that the buyer of  papal of 9 years says was unauthorized they put my account at a neg 350 balance so they will take more then what you actually have in your account. And the buyer not only was using the game but put a authenticator and everything on it.   So basically get vip status and papal will help u scam people? ... View more

Paypal is now getting a rep for doin that kinda thing i hope for your sake you paid paypal threw a credit card or something within 45 days you can alteast file a chargeback threw your bank if you did.
