Hi, I have a problem and don't know how to address it with paypal. Im thinking about doing an unathozied transation, here are the details of what happend: I wanted to buy virtual goods online. After posting on the sellers thread, an imposter added me on MSN. He impersonated the real seller (through 2 forms; 1. having an identical MSN to the real seller, the only difference is second and third letters are switched between his and the real seller; its misleading 2. during our conversation, he stated he was the real seller). Because of this, he coerced me into sending what appears to be an authorized payment to him. However, had he stated he wasn't the real seller, I never would sent this payment. His actions solely didn't trick me, but have violated two parts of section 9, Restricted Activities, of the user agreement: 1. part f. "Provide false, inaccurate or misleading information" 2. part g. "Send or receive what we reasonably believe to be potentially fraudulent funds" I understand paypal doesn't offer buyer protection to virtual goods, but it doesn't offer seller protection either. How should i go about this?
