I was about to make a purchase on Facebook Marketplace and pay via PayPal. I quickly realized it was a scam, and quit the order in time. I called PayPal to inform of the fraudulent account, I didn’t receive a claim number or anything like that, just a “thank you”. Is anything being done about the fraudulent accounts identified?
