Any chance you can walk me through the BBB complaint process? I had a similar thing happen. Somebody obtained access to my pp account, added a foreign bank account and transferred out most of my $1100 balance. I received an email in the overnight hours that the transfer had happened and when i woke up the next day, I saw the email regarding the transfer to the unknown bank account, I immediately filed a dispute. The rep i spoke to said she saw what looked like fraudulent activity, helped me change my password and such and said I should receive my funds within 5-7 days. About an hour later, i get an email saying my case was denied as "this transaction was consistent with your paypal history". I have since requested an appeal, but as others on here seem to say, it will get denied too. I will be contacting local tv and news stations and their consumer advocate personel and the BBB ( if somebody can help point out how and where to do so ) if paypal doesn't reimburse me. Its insane that they don't take responsibility for this kind of stuff.
