Hi, I made a payment through PayPal using my Visa credit card for one of the services later I disputed the transaction with my credit card company on Jan 19, 2024, for which they credited a bank adjustment of $1,105 to my credit card on Jan 26, 2024. On Jan 26, 2024, PayPal received a notification for the dispute I raised with Visa and PayPal has posted a negative balance in my account for the same amount.
I canceled the dispute that I raised with Visa on Jan 27, 2024, and as a result, the credit card company took back the bank adjustment of $1,105. I was told by Visa that on Jan 27, 2024, a notification to PayPal was sent about the cancellation of the dispute.
Even though I have canceled the dispute still a due of $1,105 is showing in my PayPal account. I could not get it addressed even after reaching out to PayPal and Visa multiple times. To get it resolved Wells Fargo (Visa) is suggesting that I should send the dispute cancellation document issued by Wells Fargo as proof to PayPal. But Paypal over the phone or chat assistant is no help in this case to get resolved. Any suggestions or help on this matter is highly appreciated Thank you
