Why is paypal stealing my money?

Waiting for two weeks to receive a refund from paypal. I received 4 refunds last week. All of my debit purchases were refunded same business day. Paypals refund is on hold for 11 days so far. Contacted my bank they say that Paypal is holding the funds. Paypal Customer service responds: “Best change banks then if they are taking a long while to process your refund.” This lines right up with all the class action lawsuits over the years. I’m having this same issue, refund is taking two weeks to show up in my account. I called my bank they said its on hold by paypal. Might I add what a terrible and unprofessional response from a paypal admin. Hey kernowlass how many class action lawsuits have been filled against paypal in the last 7 years? Paypal lives on a different planet where refunds can take 10-30 days to be authorized by your bank. Call your bank and ask them how long it will take. I’m currently waiting 8+ days for mine. I will never use paypal again. ... View more

Why would I continue to use paypal

I used paypal last weekend. On websites that already have money back guarantees. I made some purchases and three of them were refunded. I’ve never had so many cancellations. Is it because I’m paying with paypal? Any way, one purchase took 6 business days to clear the payment through paypal. It normally takes 1 business day when I pay with my debit. One refund has taken 6 business days and still I have not received it. Oh but paypal says ‘completed’ so their job is done. What is this? Why is my bank taking 6 days to clear a refund? Never in my 10+ years ar this bank has it taken 8 days to process a refund. Why would anyone ever use this service? Wow. ... View more
