Welcome! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear there's been some confusion when trying to edit a contact's information on your account. Have you tried editing them through your Contact Book? If you're unable to edit their info there, the best option may be to delete your customer's information and add them in as a new customer by clicking "Add Customer" in the upper right section of your Contact Book.
