Hi every one, Good surprise last week, I received a message from Brainety saying they processed a refund on my PayPal account... And after some days, this refund (€38.80) was effectively on my associated bank account ! So, it takes more than 3 month to get this refund, without any help from PayPal. I just hope other scammed people could be as lucky I am.

Last minute : I just received a mail from Brainety saying they are OK to refund me... but they can't for the moment because of the open PayPal case. Unfortunately, PayPal rejected my claim a week ago and told the case is closed, but they are still keeping the money and didn't pay Brainety ! Clearly, PayPal is using our claims - even closed - to keep our money and prevent Brainety to refund. P.S. Don't forget to use the survey for to express what you think about PayPal.

@kernowlass I'm shocking as you persist to justify this scammer. I can agree that the trap is well created and that I've certainly been caught with it... But regarding the number of trapped people, one has to choose his side : scammer or victims. Justifying strongly such a scammer is just destroying confidence in PayPal, but maybe it's not your problem ?

Hi there ! As you can see on Trustpilot by example, there are unfortunately hundreds of people scammed by Brainety... When you pay a small amount for an alleged IQ test, they use your banking informations to create a recurrent debit of a variable monthly amount (from €38.80 to £79.80). Nevertheless, PayPal don't help his customers to recover stollen money... It's really a shame.
