Last night I made a payment via my credit card through a PayPal gateway. I have an email with a transaction ID from PayPal showing that the funds are pending and the funds are also waiting to be taken from my credit card. This transaction does not show on my PayPal account, to dispute. I spoke to my bank immediately who said they are unable to block the payment from going out. I would like to cancel before it got to that stage as I caught the fact it was a scam straight after payment.
Can this process be actioned by PayPal with the transaction ID that I received on my receipt email?
