no more description in paypal email receipt since ...

The last time I got the description in the PayPal transaction email receipt was the 7th of July 2023. On the 17th of August 2023 it was no more in the email receipt (only when opening the URL to the PayPal transaction after logging in with a password then 2FA which is not acceptable, it takes more than 4 minutes to back up a single receipt).   At that time I had in the email receipt: Description Prix unitaire QtéMontant that is description (at times even including the seller transaction ID, cost per unit, quantity, and total.   Since August,  I only get the label that will appear on my bank account. The emails I receive from PayPal on each transaction are useless and their only purpose seems to give me a link to log into PayPal to access the transaction details.   Please restore the old behavior or provide a means to save the receipt without having to go through 2FA on every single transaction. In practice, this means I can no longer store my receipt at all as I do not have the time to do the 2FA dance required by each transaction. You could also remove receipts altogether (which you are not allowed to do) the result will be the same.   Most of the seller transaction IDs that were shown in the PayPal email receipt before August of 2023 are required to get a refund or such.   And asking for 2FA to get every detail of our activity is insane (I even had to a second 2FA to post to this forum, which by the way should not use the account details and password than my PayPal bank account!). You will only make more people disable 2FA killing all security in the process. You are making PayPal insecure.     You also removed the receiver email from the transaction details on the site (only leaving the receiver name)... except that one name can map to more than one email. A bank is not Facebook. It might be cool not to show email because it makes you look technical and geek tech... but I need to know to which email I sent and will send money. And downloading reports each time I want to send money to someone to check his email is not an answer. You are edging to the cool side way too much.   So removing technical details to be cool and requiring people with 2FA enabled to log in and reenter 2FA  for every action again and again (including posting to this forum)... you are getting me nervous about using PayPal at all. You do not spend much on design for security and reliability it seems.   But please at the very least restore the description in the email receipt. I doubt it is about security. (another attempt to become even more cooler by removing "technical  cruft"?) ... View more
