I have been caught in an endless loop with PayPal that has most recently, somehow, been decided in favor of the 'seller' even though the 'seller' has never provided *anything* 1. I placed an order with Electrohouse.shop on 6/3. Shortly after that, I decided to go with a different, more reputable, vendor (Best Buy, and I've had the product for more than a month now) and requested a cancellation of the order and refund. 2. There was no response via email, phone or text attempts with the vendor. At that time I put in a dispute with PayPal which, at that time, prevented the payment from going through. 3. I then heard from PayPal that I "canceled my dispute". I never canceled that, I have no idea who did that and at the time the payment went through. 4. I notified PayPal that I still am disputing the transaction and that I had requested a refund/cancellation of the sale. During this entire period I have heard nothing from the seller. 5. This morning PayPal notified me that the dispute was 'resolved' as you have found the transaction valid. I do not understand this. Is it PayPal's position that is it permissible to take money from someone and not provide a product or service in return? This company/person took my payment without giving anything in return, has not responded to any of my requests for a cancellation/refund and is completely unresponsive. I believe that is considered theft/fraud. 6. After some 6 weeks of back and forth when I appealed they decided the transaction was 'valid' and now claim I owe the fake company money. I am kind of apoplectic at this point and cannot get an actual human at PayPal. It all a series of bots.
