PayPal messed up their code and or their CSP. Maybe it is only some server they messed, but it likely impacts only a few merchants because it depends on how you send the data to PayPal.  There is a workaround fix if you have access to your own code which we used to bandage our website yesterday.  See other comments in this forum as we used their fixes.   I have sent PayPal videos, called them, sent messages, opened tickets and told them pretty much what they likely broke and they come back with their BS useless answers.  It took them two days to even understand a straight forward video and they continued to say it is our button that has a problem when it is clearly theirs.  Everyone in this forum knows PayPal broke something.     This is PayPal's original response (below).  Does it seem like PayPal knows what they are doing when they send BS like this? They even tell me they cannot do anymore. Obviously I responded back and told them they were clueless and a few days later they finally acknowledged a problem.  If we did not find this forum we would still be losing business.  More than frustrated.   " Thank you for reaching out to PayPal Merchant Technical Support, I am here to help. Upon review of your PayPal Account and recent transactions, I was able to find multiple payment declines. Some are due to issuer declines while others are declined by our internal security protocols. Our security system can decline payments for a variety of reasons. If you have access to your code you can fix this issue with a workaround most likely.  We resolved this on our website yesterday, but it is still a PayPal error that they need to fix. See the other forum about this issue for the fix.  If the PayPal employee in this thread had read the other forum they may have offered you that advice, but obviously he did not because he works for PayPal and likely does not know what he is doing. ... Glad to see a PayPal employee respond here and finally acknowledge a problem, but PayPal technical support could not even plug in a computer so no expects much from you.  Maybe you need to inform the public and merchants that your system is down and post your system as down on your website instead of hiding the truth. https://www.paypal-status.com/product/production ... Good luck if you are waiting for PayPal to fix this. You are likely receiving PayPal standard responses where they will apologize for the inconvenience and make it seem like they care.  PayPal likely has no clue what they are doing, does not know who broke their own code and does not know how to fix it.    If you have access to your own code then you may be able to use the workaround found in early posts in this community.  I can tell you it worked for us. Whoever discovered the work around found in this community is the real technical support wizard.  PayPal should be ashamed of their responses to this issue.           ... View more

My first ticket with them was on June 21st.  They then came back with some BS.  I sent them a video showing them the problem and they still did not understand the issue.  They came back with some more BS until they finally said yes there was a problem and since then they just reply with useless responses if they respond at all.  PayPal technical support could hardly plug in a computer let alone fix any technical issues.  Thanks PayPal for 7 days of lost sales.  Never rely on only PayPal for your processing.  That is the lesson we must all learn.   ... We are having the same issue. I have opened several tickets and called them on so many occasions.  PayPal customer support and tech agents simply do not care. Their standard responses are are always  "we apologize, we understand, we know it is frustrating".  Just customer service BS lingo with little acknowledgement that anything is wrong and no timeline for a solution.
